Morse and Beggs Monument Co. Inc, an industry leader in designing and creating custom headstones, memorials, and monuments in N. Attleboro MA has an opening for a Sand Blast Operator \ Artisan.

Willing to train the right candidate that possess craftsmanship skills with an attention to detail.

Objectives:

To perform the shop tasks in the creation of monuments, assist in the setting of monuments at the memorial location and to maintain a clean and orderly inventory or tools and supplies.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Setting monuments at the memorial site

Preparing monument surfaces for sandblasting

Catalog and maintain the tools in the shop and trucks

Maintain a running list of expendable inventory items are sufficiently stocked

Check artwork for accuracy

Cut stencils using a flatbed plotters

Set up and run jobs within the sandblast booths

Help assist in the setting of monuments and making deliveries of markers.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

High attention to detail

Artistic skills and education

Working knowledge of memorial design software applications would be a big plus.

Familiarity with monument design

Familiarity with monument production process – including stencil cutting and sandblasting.
