JOIN THE KEYES TEAM! Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Technician

Keyes Fibre of Wenatchee is seeking a dedicated I&E Technician that will assist in the maintenance, installation, and design of industrial manufacturing equipment and controls. Daily duties will involve troubleshooting mechanical and controls issues, performing repairs and calibration of field instruments, and ordering/maintaining a spare parts inventory.

Technical Skills: The applicant should have strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills and be able to effectively resolve technical issues independently or as part of a team. They should have familiarity with programming and troubleshooting ladder logic and developing and modifying displays for industrial visualization programs. Installation, configuration, and maintenance of control devices such as Variable Frequency Drives, Burner Management Controllers, Soft Starts, Motor Overloads, Control Valves, Optical Sensors, Smart Transmitters, AC/DC Motors, and Servo Motors/Encoders will be required as part of the applicant’s regular workload. This position will require a good understanding of industrial network architecture and data flow between control devices, controllers, and data collection systems. Skill in working with pneumatic, hydraulic, and vacuum control and distribution systems is preferred.

Education/Experience: The successful candidate must have a 2-yr Associates Degree in an Instrumentation & Electronics Program (or equivalent) AND 3-5 years of experience in the I&E field. An Electrical License with an instrumentation certification or an ISA CCST certification is preferred.

Schedule/Wage: Mon-Fri, 7:30am to 3:30pm. Must be flexible to call-ins on nights and weekends. $43.52/hr with some overtime.
