Cambridge Management, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technician to assist the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the physical integrity of the community. This involves insuring a safe, secure and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors and staff.

About the position
Preventive Maintenance/Safety:
Must be knowledgeable of pertinent laws and EPA and OSHA regulations governing proper storage and management of hazardous materials.
Constantly be aware of the condition of apartment property throughout the community and immediately corrects unsafe conditions.
General:
Diagnoses and performs minor and routine maintenance/repair, as directed Electrical and plumbing (including water lines).
A/C and heating systems
Water irrigation systems
Stairs, gates, fences, patios, railings
Tile, carpet, flooring
Roofing, gutters, fasteners
Gas fixtures and appliances
Security systems
Ceiling leaks
Be knowledgeable of inventory levels of spare parts and supplies
Performs any additional duties assigned by Regional Manager, Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager.
Requirements
Skill and Abilities
Must have a valid State Driver’s License if working multiple properties or driving a golf cart on property
Ability to manage multiple high priorities at once
Flexible demeanor and positive attitude
Ability to work evenings, overtime, holidays and weekends, as needed
Must be thorough, reliable, honest, and service-oriented
Required Education & Experience
High School diploma or equivalent
Bilingual preferred
Minimum one (1) year experience in apartment maintenance or equivalent field.
