Systems Engineer

Submit your application today!Your responsibilities- Retain redundancy strategies, backup, and security- Maintain, install, configure, and test system management tools, application software, and operating systems- Survey and sample application performance for potential bottlenecks, pinpoint possible solutions, and cooperate with developers to perform those fixes- Maintain contact with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution- Supply 2nd and 3rd level support- Take part in the design of information and operational support systems- Control and watch all installed systems and infrastructure- Note and support custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks- Vigorously deliver the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability Requirements - It is preferred for applicants to have experience with virtualization and containerization- Solid networking knowledge- It is preferred for applicants to have experience with automation software- Candidates who have solid scripting skills will be the best fit for this position- It is preferred for applicants to have experience with monitoring systems- This position requires a candidate with solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks- Expertise in Vmware Infrastructure- Solid understanding of VMware- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365- It is preferred for applicants to have proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting various operating systems Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
