Job Location: Harahan, LA and Harvey, LA
Hutco Branch: Harvey, LA
Rate of Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour. Time and a half for overtime after 40 hours.
Description:
Hutco Inc. is looking for a 1st class CRANE OPERATOR for a ship yard located in Belle Chase, LA. It is primarily repair work on barges and boats. No training opportunities available. Looking for crane operators with experience only.
NO TWIC card required. NO per diem available.
LONG TERM WORK. LOTS OF HOURS AVAILABLE
Requirements:
Performs a variety of duties including but not limited to the following:
Operates cranes, cherry picker and other equipment used in lifting and manipulating loads in the repair and/or construction of marine vessels and associated equipment. Performs service and maintenance on equipment, refueling, manipulates cables, chains, shackles, tag lines and other equipment. Outside working conditions with fumes, odors and dust.
