Position: Night Shift Foremen
Job Location: Belle Chase, LA
Hutco Branch: Harvey, LA
Rate of Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour (time and a half for overtime after 40 hours)
Description:
Hutco Inc. Is looking for a ship yard repair FOREMEN at a yard located in Belle Chase, LA. It is a NIGHT SHIFT position. NO TWIC card required. NO per diem available. Long term work.
LOTS OF HOURS AVAILABLE!
Requirements:
Oversees day to day repairs of marine vessels on yard. Instructs personnel on procedure and repairs to be accomplished on each job. Complies with written repair specifications. Logs time cards for each employee, ensuring correct job number and phases for each. Effectively utilize equipment and personnel in order to keep barge comment schedule on track. Maintains a safety watch over all aspects of yard jobs. Ability to operate various pieces of equipment and machinery. Controls expendable and consumable items used during repairs.
