Expert Systems Administrator

Description and Responsibilities: SOCOM has a great need for Expert Systems Administrators at Fort Bragg, NC. The selected candidate will be a part of one of our client's Geospatial Teams. A successful Expert Systems Specialist shall perform advanced level planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise level GIS associated geospatial databases, network equipment, and software tools and applicants. The right candidate must be able to perform excellently with high/expert intelligence systems architecture design and evaluation. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• The right candidate must have a strong desire to work with the Special Operations Community and be willing to deploy within 48 hours after first 6 months of employment.
• Expert Geospatial Systems Specialists MUST have 8 years of progressive experience performing design, implementation, and maintenance of MS and LINUX operating systems within an enterprise architecture.
• The right candidate should have at least 2 years of experience within the past three years with Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Active Directory, VMWare, Linux server software, and have a high level of knowledge on storage solutions.
• Proficient in administering and deploying enterprise level open source and commercial off the shelf (COTS) GIS server equipment in support of intelligence organizations.
• Strong ability to write custom scripts for automation and analysis using Python with knowledge of C# and Java.
• Shall be highly proficient in administering and deploying geospatial applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development.
• Shall possess an expert working knowledge of the discovery, analysis and exploitation of geospatially oriented data and the management of that data within a variety of Open Geospatial Consortium (ODC) compliant applications and database
• Shall possess strong oral and written communication skills
• Shall possess a high/expert ability to manage and work with static and dynamic streaming geospatial oriented data
• Certifications: The Expert Geospatial Systems Specialist is required to obtain and maintain currency of the appropriate level certification in accordance with DODD 8570.01 (e.g. Security +)
• Minimum of 8 years system administration experience within DOD or equivalent with Government agencies
• Clearance: TS with SCI eligibility

• Experience working within the geospatial field.
• Bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of additional experience supporting special operations automated desktop processing (ADP) management.
• Additional years of general experience in the fields of support to targeting, intelligence systems architecture, and geospatial systems are highly desirable.
• Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional Server, Desktop and Active Directory certifications desired.
• NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA) certification desired.
