The interview will be technical and will have a hands-on practical.DescriptionNetwork Team Leads are assigned responsibilities involving the supervision of others in the installation, test and turn-up of networking equipment and related components. This includes assignment and review of work, assessment of performance, insuring completion of assigned projects or activities, and providing training or assistance as needed. Leads are responsible for the coordination and communication with team members to coordinate dispatches, assure quality control of installation efforts, and delegation of responsibilities for completion of final customer deliverables including documentation. In addition to leadership responsibilities, approximately half of the Network Team Lead's time will be spent performing network related work themselves.Responsibilities• Direct, task, and organize team of 4-8 network engineers• Provide mentoring and top tier support for network engineers and other teams as needed• Manage 20-30 projects across the network team, ensuring quality results and timely delivery• Maintain network team schedules• Review and approve timesheets for network team• Perform full lifecycle of networking related projects (discovery, design, implementation, support)Contact Adrienne Anderson at Robert Half for more information at Requirements Requires Experience/Qualifications•8+ years of experience with networking as the primary role (maybe this needs to be higher?)•4+ years of experience with Palo Alto Networks Firewalls (maybe this needs to be higher?)•Fluent in at least 3 different vendors of routing/switching products•Fluent in at least 2 different vendors of firewall products•Extensive experience with dynamic routing protocols (OSPF/EIGRP/BGP)•Extensive experience with DHCP/DNS and common Microsoft protocols•Experience with 802.1x and Network Access Control technology•Experience with networking for virtualization (Hyper-V, vSphere)•Cloud networking experience including Network Virtual Appliances•Basic understanding of MFA•Ability to pick up any networking gear (firewall, switch, router, wireless controller, load balancer) and quickly familiarize yourself•Experience with managing teams of 4 or more•Excellent communication and organization skillsNice to Haves•Palo Alto PCNSE•Extreme Network Experience and/or certifications•Cisco ASA Experience•Experience with SDWAN technologies Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
