We are looking for a Software Configuration Analyst based out of Melbourne, Florida as a Software Configuration Analyst at Peraton you will have a challenging and rewarding opportunity to be a part of our Enterprise-wide digital transformation. Responsibilities include (but not limited to) the following tasks:- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools to support configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery of both internally developed and externally purchased commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software products.- Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to ensure new software product operating parameters are documented, comply with standard hardware configurations, and are logistically sustainable.- Design, develop, automate, and maintain productivity tools using programming, database or scripting languages to improve software modeling and development.- Design and implement build procedures that are used to support software product development and use.- Assist developing software configuration standards for company-wide use and train developers in the use of configuration management tools and the implementation of software quality standards.Basic Qualifications - Level 3:- Must have a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.- Must have Knowledge and understanding with Git and GitLab- Experience with Linux and C compilation.- Must hold a current/active US Citizen with active Top Secret clearance.Basic Qualifications - Level 4:- Must have a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.- Must have Knowledge and understanding with Git and GitLab- Experience with Linux and C compilation.- Must hold a current/active US Citizen with active Top Secret clearance.Preferred Qualifications:- Detail-oriented and have excellent verbal and written communications skills, leadership skills, and organization skills.- Experience with GitLab CI/CD Pipeline orchestration - Experience with CMake - IEEE standard CM practices/documentation- TS with a SCI ( Sensitive Compartmented Information) preferredWe are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
