job summary:A Senior Software Developer who is able to work collaboratively to design solutions based on minimal information. The ideal Developer is self- directed and proactive and able to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You must be comfortable working in teams, both internally and cross-functionally.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Meet with internal leadership to establish long-term direction and vision for the development department.
  • Meet with internal or external stakeholders to gather new requirements and turn them into page designs/wireframes.
  • Work with QA team to develop test plans for new features or bugs.
  • Make improvements to UI/UX based on feedback from internal stakeholders and work with Backend and API Developers to craft UI/UX experience.
  • Work with data team and Backend Developers to help create and embed dashboards in the website front-end.
  • Help build and develop a team of engineers to maintain and build upon the current web solution.
  • Develop a broad understanding of the entire solution to jump in and help with challenges across the entire technical stack.
  • Help contribute to and maintain development knowledge base (Internal Stack-overflow).

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelors in Computer Science
  • 10+ years of experience in Application development.
  • Able to communicate complex technical issues to a non-technical audience.
  • Development team management experience.
  • Enthusiastic about mentoring junior Developers.
  • Excellent problem resolution skills.
  • Willing to experiment with unorthodox solutions to technical problems.

Experience with the following:
  • Java: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Microsoft SQL Server: 5 years (Preferred)
  • React: 5 years (Required)
  • C#: 3 years (Preferred)
  • ReactJS. JavaScript, Website design, REST API development in C#, familiarity with writing Unit Tests (TDD), Kanban tool (Trello, JIRA etc.).
  • Experience with Azure CI/CD, Functions, Logic Apps CLI experience a plus, GraphQ, Java and Snowflake experience are a plus.
