Job Summary:

Warehouse Associate Pay Rate: $13-$16 per hour

Warehouse Manager/Assistant Manager Pay Rate: $18-$23 per hour

Southwick Linens in Gilbert is seeking an exceptional Warehouse Associates to provide support to our warehouse operations team, with a review for a raise/promotion after 90 days into a management roll. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday- Friday hours 9 to 5:30pm. We offer paid holiday and Paid time off. We host an employee meeting once per month with lunch provided. Southwick Linens is a local family business, and we treat all our employees like family, too.

The ideal candidate must be dependable, have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and high school diploma or equivalent. Our Warehouse Associate and Management will increase operational efficiency, company profitability and customer satisfaction by accurately and safely pulling orders, counting them back into inventory, as well as greeting clients for will call orders.

Responsibilities:

Accurately pull product from racks and shelves as per pick ticket; Inspect product for quality ensuring it is not stained or damaged.

Ensure the accuracy of orders by conducting product to pull sheet comparisons before releasing product to client or delivery driver. Notate any shortages immediately for correction.

Assists in loading the delivery truck or vehicles.

Assists with preparing laundry for delivery.

Receives shipments.

Communicates positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-up.

Moves all inventory into allocated spaces within warehouse.

Operates a push ladders safely and efficiently, performs safety checks and reports discrepancies to supervisor.

Assists in keeping facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently.

Processes returns accurately.

Assists in keeping facility secure. Ensures all equipment is stored at end of day and all doors and gates are secured.

Maintains proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required.

Assist with cycle counts and annual inventory counts

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED.

Prior experience in distribution or warehousing preferred.

Ability to maneuver heavy objects, some weighing up to 100 pounds.

Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Follow and carry out instructions with minimal supervision.

Good interpersonal skills.

Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
