Kitchen Staff Wanted

Thank you for choosing Churrasco De Brasil! We are looking for hardworking individuals with the ability to excel in a fast paced environment. The kitchen staff provides quality food products for guests. Primary job duties include preparing food items/dishes according to directions from the kitchen supervisors or by following recipes – which may include working with ovens, burners, broilers/deep fryers, knives, slicers, and various other kitchen utensils/equipment.

Responsibilities

- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies

- Prepare food for service

- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff

- Answer, report and follow the kitchen managers instructions

- Clean up station and take care of leftover food

- Stock inventory appropriately

- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion

- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Requirements

- The ability to be on your feet for long periods of time.

- The ability to be a team player, as well as being self motivated and able to work alone.

- Previous restaurant or food service experience

- Reliable transportation

- Open and flexible availability. Must be available on weekends.

- Be able to measure and assemble ingredients for menu items

- Kitchen staff will Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures

- Can rotate stock items as per established procedures

- Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift

- Line cook must make sure that the hygiene and food safety standards are placed as a top priority throughout all stages of food preparation
