Residential Painter Position

I am looking to hire a painter. We are a small painting and drywall finishing company. Most of our work is around the Hastings and metro area. You will be required to drive yourself to the job site daily. Drive time is not factored into your daily pay.Experience is a plus, but is not required. We do all types of residential painting, residential drywall work, and some carpentry work. Workschedule is Monday through Friday 8-430. Pay is bi weekly and pay will be based on skill level, work ethic, and consistent improvement.Minimal to no experience will start between $15-17 hr. For someone with some experience, pay will range from $18-$25/hr. Raises are based on attendance and consistent progression. I am hoping for a long term employee, and am trying to build a core of reliable colleges to grow with the business.Work weeks in the winter will range from 30-40 hours of work per week, spring and summer month will be 40-50 hours per week. If you do not have any experience please don't tell me that you do, it will show the first day on the job.

Job Duties: loading and unloading tools from truck and trailer daily, prepping rooms for painting, masking of floors, trim, and other fixtures in residential homes. Fixing holes and imperfections on drywall, wood, and other surfaces. Hand and machine sanding of walls, ceilings, and woodwork. Vacuuming and cleaning of work surfaces and job sites. Applying drywall compound to walls and ceilingsof various heights. Climbing up and down ladders of various sizes. Working off of ladders and scaffolding. Applying primers and paints to various surfaces by brush, roller, and airless sprayer. Cleaning of tools, equipment, brushes, and job sites. Picking up small amounts of paint and supplies for jobs. Hauling and picking up heavy materials, supplies, and equipment. Other various home remodeling jobs/tasks.
