job summary: Help Desk Specialist Job Summary Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Responds to tickets, isolates problem, and determines and implements solution. This position is 100% remote work, the Help Desk Specialist will work in our Atera helpdesk system to respond to employee tickets and connect to devices remotely. Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide remote support for issues related to all software and hardware.
  • Respond to tickets via email or over the phone.
  • Ask questions to determine nature of problem.
  • Walk customer through problem-solving process.
  • Install and configure software, install drivers and firmware for hardware.
  • Clean up computers.
  • Escalate tier 2 & 3 tickets to other technicians.
  • Install computer peripherals for users.
  • Follow up with employees to ensure issue has been resolved.
  • Able to work with all Windows Operating systems, Sonicwall firewalls and switches, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Azure, VOIP phones, VLANs, iPhone and Android mobile devices.
