Job Description Responsible for facilitating the process to collect and define client requirements. Provides advice and recommendations on process best practices. Performs analysis on business or systems processes to identify improvements. Works with clients to understand and define needs and develop and recommend solutions. Interacts and communicates with end-users, management, vendors, and IT personnel. Produces functional design specifications based on user requirements. Maintains knowledge of Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) applications (e.g., MS SQL, Azure DevOps, and MS Office Products). Performs configuration and designs functional solutions (e.g., reports, interfaces, workflows, and extensions) for specific application and third-party systems. Responsibilities
  • Work with the team to refine items on the team's backlog.
  • Work with the internal and customer stakeholders to identify requirements and acceptance criteria, develop the necessary design and test documentation.
  • Participates in all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development with emphasis on analysis of user requirements, test design and test tools selection.
  • Participates in daily SCRUM calls, Sprint planning, demonstrations, and retrospectives events.
  • Interact with software developers, requirements analysts, end users and other stakeholders to define, document, analyze, perform and interpret tests for the AGILE development team.
  • Perform problem troubleshooting and communicate findings effectively with management and end-users.
  • Show a demonstrated skill in effective decomposition of mission/business objectives into requirements contained within a product backlog which can then be implemented in a series of short and iterative development cycles.
  • Meet regularly with stakeholders to identify business needs.
  • Clearly communicate those business needs to a development team through epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Evaluate defects based on operational impact and using approved defect tracking system to capture findings.
  • Participate in all phases of risk management assessment.
  • Ability to comprehend QA processes and follow QA process guidelines.
