Network Engineer (Cisco, Arista, Juniper) IV

Location: Philadelphia, PA Description: Our client is currently seeking a Network Engineer (Cisco, Arista, Juniper) IV. As a Lab & Network Engineer you will be a primary contributor in making critical product development decisions on B4B ActiveCore product design team, specializing in Medium to Enterprise Business Class security, connectivity & managed services. You should have strong knowledge and practical hands-on experience with Network Engineering as it relates to designing and developing lab networks and customer network designs. This individual should have strong knowledge and practical hand-on experience with Network Engineering, specifically with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba and Versa. The candidate should also have cloud connectivity experience (AWS, Azure, Zscaler, Rackspace, etc) and server virtualization (VMware, ESXi, KVM, etc). Experience with one of IXIA or Spirent testing platforms is needed. Versa SD-WAN or any vendor SD-WAN is a huge plus. QA Automation and scripting would be nice to haves. Security Knowledge with Versa, Palo Alto, Fortinet and Juniper is not required but a huge plus, as is.This job will have the following responsibilities

• Maintain the lab for Business - Rack, stack and configure network and other devices
• Develop test cases for network designs for various customers and document
• Build out any new areas of lab space and connectivity
• Help design new customer networks for Business
• Maintain awareness and curiosity in trends for our usage data and critical metrics (high-level reach/frequency/engagement metrics should be top of mind)
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
• Nice to have: Develop and run QA Automation for all Business products in the NSA team labs
