Hamilton, NJ(Hybrid remote/onsite)

$110 – 120k Seeking an Oracle Database Developer with overall responsibility for implementation and maintenance of all company data sources. Data sources will be built/maintained using modern data management techniques. The position will require understanding the business needs and developing or extending data sources using best practices.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Analyze business and technical requirements and contribute to high-level designs using Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and PL/SQL (packages, stored procedures, triggers, etc.)
  • Design expedient approaches to implement sustainable solutions to satisfy business needs using best practices design patterns
  • Work with architect(s) to design databases that meet organizational needs using conceptual, logical, and physical data models
  • Analyze data-related system integration challenges and propose appropriate solutions
  • Writing, Modifying, and debugging SQL queries/Stored Procedures, etc.
  • Performance Tuning, Monitoring automated jobs, Troubleshooting
  • Unit testing, integration testing and functional testing

Required:
  • Proficiency working with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and PL/SQL (packages, stored procedures, triggers, etc.)
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in relational databases, includes creating sophisticated, but efficient queries, Stored Procedures, Triggers, etc.
  • Ability to work with architect(s) to design databases that meet organizational needs using conceptual, logical, and physical data models
  • Proficiency in unit testing, integration testing and functional testing
  • Ability to perform analysis, development, and maintenance of standards
  • Adopt tools and techniques that improve productivity and quality
  • Willingness to maintain existing legacy, as well as develop new solutions within a culture that embraces standard processes and delivery of high-quality solutions
  • Adheres to industry best practices for development and delivery of solutions
  • Experience with .Net development, Visual Cron a plus
  • Must be able to articulate issues and questions to a non-technical audience
  • Independent player willing to work in a cross-functional team environment
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with keen attention to details
  • Must have strong technical, communication skills and advanced proficiency in English as you will be required to communicate with clients
