Key responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership for the IT Business Analyst group across the Americas by creating a motivating environment for team members to meet and exceed goals including, IT goals for Business Partnership, as well as organisational goals for Efficiency, Performance and Profitable Growth. Recognize and reward outstanding performance as needed. Plan, prioritize and lead the team through effective systems.
  • Coach, Counsel and where necessary oversee Corrective Action processes with team members. Conduct regular performance reviews and incorporate substantial feedback on each individual's performance and personal development.
  • Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with key business leaders, process owners and superusers and to support them to improve their business performance
  • Ability to understand and articulate customer and business needs, complexities and impacts, both within functional groups, and throughout end-to-end business processes.
  • Conduct detailed analyses to identify gaps or opportunities, translate these into business requirements and support the design and implementation of IT system changes in line with the overall IT strategy of both the Label and Graphics Materials and the Industrial and Healthcare Materials Groups
  • Drive continuous improvement of our IT practices, procedures and supporting tools
  • Identify and present opportunities for technical solutions and process improvement.
Qualifications

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or business required
  • MBA a plus, but not required

Experience:
  • 6-8+ years of relevant experience in a business analyst or similar role in sales, ecommerce, pricing and order management processes, ideally within a manufacturing industry. Some level of supervisory and consulting experience preferred
  • Effective team builder. Experience motivating cross-functional teams in a high performance environment
  • Project Management qualifications or well developed skills are strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid project management methodologies desired. Experience of working in an organisation adopting Agile methodologies, desired, but not required.
  • Proven analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills
  • The ability to influence key partners and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.

Other:
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills with demonstrated examples of leading and/or supporting successful projects.
  • Superb communication skills
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Global work experience (work/study abroad, global project management experience, etc.) is preferred, but not required
  • Limited (<10%) travel required.
