job summary:OverviewIT Telephony Engineers design, implement, and help support the clients, Cisco-based telephony environment as well as the telephony environments of other clients of the client.Interpersonal Skills/Characteristics

Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent education and experience
  • Four years of experience supporting and implementing telecommunication solutions
  • Able to define, communicate, and implement a business-driven telephony strategy
  • Experience engineering, deploying, maintaining, and debugging:
    • Cisco Unified Call Managers
    • Cisco Unity Connection
    • Cisco Emergency Responder
    • VoIP Gateways and telephones
  • Able to develop technical processes in alignment with business and industry best practices
  • Provide and maintain thorough documentation
  • Operational knowledge of large distributed Local Area and Wide Area Networks
Additional Experience Preferred but not Required:
  • Experience with Call Recording solutions
  • Experience with SIP (need familiarity)
  • Experience with InformaCast
  • Industry recognized telephony and data networking certifications
  • Experience interoperating different PBX environments as part of Enterprise
  • General knowledge of Unified Cisco Contact Center Enterprise and UCCE Peripheral Gateways
