job summary:WHAT YOU'LL DOThe CPXE Security team is seeking an engineer to collaborate with others in the design and build a current Cisco Cloud SaaS for FedRAMP. This position will participate in engineering, supporting and maintaining security solutions for SaaS and PaaS in federal and nonfederal environments using proven security models for data protection.RESPONSIBILITIES:- Drives technology design, implementation, execution and/or optimization for customer projects/accounts.- Works with customers and business units to plan, design, configure Cisco's suite of products, services and solutions to accelerate customer outcomes- Perform technical compliance assessments of controls for in-scope systems, including remediation assessments and audit-readiness assessments- Partners with other technical engineers and architects within the company to ensure consistency for processes and practices- Conduct technical research when necessary to contribute to cloud security direction and planning- Develops requirements and strategies to address information security needs- Foster security culture across diverse and agile engineering teamsWHO YOU ARERequirements:- Knowledge of NIST, FedRAMP, and common information security management frameworks- Experience with Identity and Access Management(IAM) roles and policies, Secured Network Architectures, and CIS foundational standards- 3-5 years of experience in security operations, process, solutions, and technologies as well as policy, compliance, and best practice security principles- Knowledge of application development, systems engineering, and network engineering to develop security requirements and best practices, enterprise risk assessment methodologiesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Expertise in FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, FIPS 140-2, and IL4/5 technical and operational requirements is desirable- Knowledge of Infrastructure as code- Robust experience with public cloud is a plus- Experience with security infrastructure is desirable location: San Jose, Californiajob type: Contractwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: Bachelors responsibilities:RESPONSIBILITIES:- Drives technology design, implementation, execution and/or optimization for customer projects/accounts.- Works with customers and business units to plan, design, configure Cisco's suite of products, services and solutions to accelerate customer outcomes- Perform technical compliance assessments of controls for in-scope systems, including remediation assessments and audit-readiness assessments- Partners with other technical engineers and architects within the company to ensure consistency for processes and practices- Conduct technical research when necessary to contribute to cloud security direction and planning- Develops requirements and strategies to address information security needs- Foster security culture across diverse and agile engineering teams qualifications:
