Responsibilities Responsible for translating the clients business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for very large complex IT solutions and integrating architecture. Acts as an advocate for the client as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address client business problems. Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains enterprise-wide solutions to total system or subsystems using internally created and/or off the shelf products. Analyzes and identifies all or part of a company's existing or new peripheral, network, and telecommunications systems requirements, taking into consideration the special technology needs. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Provides direction for design activities. Often project-based, sometimes working at customer sites.

Qualifications Requires 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD.Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years working in the IC
  • Basic to mid-level program/project management experience
  • Experience providing full-lifecycle system integration and project management support for complex systems
  • Experience and ability to work collaboratively with mission partners and stakeholders across organizational boundaries
  • Accomplished written communicator and public speaker
  • Ability to organize, schedule, and accomplish a wide variety of tasks
  • Experience supporting sensitive mission activities
  • Willingness and ability to maintain contact lists, update communication logs, produce and distribute correspondence, and meeting notes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Willingness and ability to conduct frequent local area travel and occasional overnight travel
Desired Qualifications:
  • PMP highly desirable
  • Experience providing direct support to the customer in a joint program office
  • Experience with the domain specific requirement management and prioritization processes
  • Ability to translate mission CONOPS and collection strategies into higher-level system requirement and work with multi-discipline engineering teams to flesh out lower level technical requirement
  • Ability to plan, implement, test, document, and maintain medium and large-scale systems
  • Experience with IT operations planning, development, and execution
  • Understands the DoD Joint Forces structure
  • Understands the structure and functions within functional and geographical combatant command
