Tesla is looking for a Sr. Program Manager to scale and optimize post-sale tire business as well as other tire-related initiatives and subprograms. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record implementing cross-functional initiatives and scaling businesses, be highly customer-centric, and display an analytical approach to creative problem-solving.Responsibilities:Partner with engineering to identify product opportunities, and test and validate Universal Loaner WheelsLead implementation of tire warranty and road hazard plans to generate revenues and enhance the customer experienceOversee and optimize loaner wheel program, ensuring adequate inventory and forecasting to meet rapidly growing demandImplement initiatives to incentivize timely return of loaner wheelsExpand loaner wheel program to new marketsMonitor inventory health for Service and partner with Supply Chain stakeholders to maintain adequate inventory levels based on business objectivesEvaluate and develop 3rd party partnerships including system integrations to improve owner experience for tires in secondary markets or where Service resources are constrainedDevelop business cases and explore alternative tire technologies and accessories to maintain customer mobility and allow self-service options for ownersPartner with key stakeholders both internal and external to successfully implement initiatives to positively impact the businessExplore new business models for developing Tesla’s tire businessPartner with data teams to develop dashboards and extract key data points to drive the businessDevelop cross-functional system integrations in partnership with Digital Product to streamline workflowsTire product knowledge resource developmentRequired Skills/Abilities:Analytical mindset, experience mining and summarizing data from multiple sourcesCustomer-centric mindset, passionate about providing industry-leading customer experience Understanding of lean principles and experience with process improvementAble to influence and communicate effectively with all levels of managementWell organized with meticulous attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to effectively prioritize and multitaskWillingness to learn new and innovative automotive technologiesWillingness to assist and teach others on the teamWork in a combination of individual contributor and team-based environment to achieve organizational goalsEducation and ExperienceHigh School diploma or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability; associate’s or bachelor’s degree or certificate preferredExperience navigating ambiguous environments and shifting responsibilitiesProven track record of implementing cross-functional initiatives and scaling businessesJIRA experience or other relevant project management experienceKnowledge of inventory management principlesProcess documentation experiencePhysical RequirementsGeneral Office – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
