Job Number: R0114605 Software and Systems Engineer, MidKey Role:Work as clients' most t r us ted advisor and essential partner. Develop expertise in domains, stakeholder relationships, and advanced capabilities to identify stakeholders' b us iness and system requirements, and translate or decompose them into actionable sof tware requirements, test criteria, and scenarios. Assist with performing complicated and difficult sof tware and systems design engineering assignments requiring a high degree of te chn ical competence reflecting state-of-the-art applications. Assist with te chn ical responsibility for planning, organizing, and c ond ucting te chn ical projects in the design and development of computer systems hardware and sof tware. Assist with preparing and design specifications, analysis, and recommendations for presentation and approval and provide te chn ical guidance to other engineers and design support personnel.Basic Qualifications:-2+ years of experience with requirements gathering and analysis-Experience with designing and implementing development, test, and production environments-Knowledge of the sof tware development life cycle ( SDLC ) , IT systems design, testing, IT Commer cia l off the Shelf ( COTS ) sof tware, or hardware integration-Knowledge of current te chn ology trends for the potential application of current and emerging te chn ology solutions to meet client requirements-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph-Bachelor's degreeAdditional Qualifications:-Experience with ensuring APIs are developed and delivered to standards-Experience with Agile development methodologies-Experience with the Project Management Framework-Knowledge of agency or intelligence community ( IC ) and IT infrastructures-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills to successfully interact with clients, engineers, and managers-Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills-Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA Security, or GSEC Certification-Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of hireClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.We're an EOE that empowers our people-no matter their race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristic-to fearlessly drive change. #LI-AH1
