Git/DevOps engineer with one our client in Peachtree City or Farmington Hills. If you are interested then please share me a copy of your resume at or call me at Location: Peachtree City or Farmington HillsDuration: 12+months The ideal candidates will have a blend of the following experiences and skills sets:- Provide tooling and maintaining of SCM Infrastructure.
- Support to end-users related SCM Infrastructure and various tools like Git, Gerrit, and many internal tools.
- The ideal candidate will have solid Hands-On experience in the administration of modern/distributed SCM systems, mainly Git-based systems like Gitlab, GitHub, or Git/Gerrit.
- Primary areas of contribution would be Installation, Setup, Configuration, Deployment, Monitoring, and Support of Git-based solutions in a Linux environment.
- This position is for an experienced DevOps professional who will be working on projects and delivering strategic and operational initiatives under the guidance of the Product Owner.
- Building and supporting a highly complex Distributed Git-based infrastructure used by Engineering organization
- Development of infrastructure automation software using CI/CD principles
- We are integrating various tools in the DevOps toolchain to accelerate the Engineering Tool team's velocity while maintaining high standards for quality and consistency.
- Identify industry best practices and draft standards for the design and implementation of automation workflows.
- They are contributing to 24x7 Operations.
- Solid understanding and experience with the following are required:
- 2+ years of experience in deployment and support of Git-based High-Availability solutions with Globally distributed architecture
- 2+ years of Linux Systems Administration and scripting skill
- Experience with Programming skills in Python/Java/Rust required
- Software build and release process
- End-to-end understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) management and toolchains, including build automation, version control, testing, code quality
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to be effective in a global organization
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation, monitoring, and security are highly desirable.
- Understanding and experience working with Agile processes (SCRUM) are required.
- Strong interpersonal skills are required to work with globally distributed teams.
- Exceptional ability to drive tasks and deliver on time is a must to be successful in this role.
