Junior Software Developer We provide an abundance of functional support to services in our platform, and the needs are ever-growing, as we adapt to new solutions and capabilities. A successful candidate would be self-driven and excited to learn, develop and deliver distributed software systems. He/she will have a keen technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and will be driven to achieve results in a fast paced, dynamic environment. This position works with SAP Marketing Cloud, and although experience with Marketing Cloud isn't required, experience with e-mail, messaging, analytics, and other marketing platforms is preferred.
- Bachelor's in computer science or a related field or 1+ year experience in programming professionally
- Desire to learn new technologies/methodologies
- Familiarity or interested in learning: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java
- Basic knowledge in database design and SQL
- Experience and/or interest in the software development life cycle
- Basic understanding of HTTP
- Basic understanding of web applications and services
- Collaborate with business users to gather/document requirements
- A commitment to write testable & tested code
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts and solutions effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Experience with e-mail marketing platforms and marketing attribution
- Experience with web design
- Experience with Event-driven architecture.
- Experience developing fault tolerant distributed systems
- Experience with Docker
- Experience with Git
- Experience with email testing tools such as Email on Acid
