Position Description: (Remote until post-pandemic) The qualified candidate will support the design, configuration, and deployment of our client's Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 Managed Member Servers (MMSs), Failover Servers (FS1s), and Application Managed Servers (AMSs). Candidate will also provide support for the Managed Member Server (MMS)/Fail-Over (FS1) Server standard configurations at the Field Offices, Program Service Centers, TeleService Centers, Office of the Inspector General, Office of Central Operations, Office of Quality Performance, and Office of Disability Adjudication and Review sites as well as state Disability Determination Sites. These tasks include support for problem determination and resolution for server issues from our client's National Help Desk that cannot be resolved on the initial call. Customer interface experience is required, as the candidate will be required to communicate and attend meetings with OTSO team members and other client divisions if necessary. Candidate will be required to carry an on-call pager on a rotational basis to provide off-hour support. Occasional off-hours and weekend work is expected. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related experience
  • Design, configure, implement and support Microsoft Windows 2008 and 2012 servers (2012 a must-have)
  • Install, configure and troubleshoot Windows Server 2008 and 2012 software
  • Active Directory/Group Policy administration
  • System Center product knowledge including Data Protection Manager and Virtual Machine Manager (DPM and VMM)
  • Experience with server virtualization; Hyper-V preferred. VMWare will be considered.
  • Experience with Powershell
