Navy Unmanned Systems Expert to support to support the Navy Warfare Development Center (NWDC) in Norfolk, Virginia. The qualified candidate will support fleet operations, test and evaluation, and/or analysis experience. Qualifications

Required education and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree and ten (10) years of experience; four (4) additional years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.

Required skills:
  • Squadron, Group or Fleet Staff; Tactical Readiness Team, Operational Reactor Safeguard Team, or Operational Test and Evaluation Team experience.
  • Unmanned systems (UXS) (i.e. UAV, Drone, Surface Unmanned Vehicle - SUV's) and/or counter UXS experience
  • Familiar in all maritime domains (air, surface, and undersea).
  • Experience with Navy Warfare Publications (Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures; and Tactical Memorandums).
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and possess advanced writing skills.
  • Ability to draft and deliver briefs and reports for senior officers and executive civilians.
  • Able to work in a team and individual environment on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must be medically fit to travel, and ride Navy, MSC, and commercial boats, ships and submarines.

Travel:
  • 10% CONUS/Underway travel.

Required Clearance:
  • Must have a current Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.

Desired Skills:
  • Retired Navy with operational experience in at least one of the warfare areas (Air, Surface, or Subsurface.)
