Technical Services & Support Engineer

Description Robert Half is searching for a skilled Software Engineer with a demonstrated knowledge of design patterns and Software Engineering techniques. As a part of a keen and deeply passionate team, you will play a pivotal role as the Software Engineer in developing new platforms and maintaining existing systems. A short-term contract / temporary role, this Software Engineer opportunity will be located in the King of Prussia, Pennsylvania area.Your responsibilities in this role- Operate closely with the product team to build new features and infrastructure- Build high quality production-ready code in an agile environment- Create and bring about back end and front end components and services- Champion top programming practices and standards- Analyze new technologies and design prototypes for continuing improvements- Refine solutions which account for scalability and optimize performance Requirements - Solid understanding of navigating basic office equipment and protocols- Software engineering experience- Knowledge of the planning, launching, and refactoring phases of code- Prior experience integrating with API backends - Experience with web application frameworks- Strong relational database management systems expertise.
