NEW Database AnalystDatabase AnalystAccountabilities:

  • Gathering and analyzing data on the data warehouse (80%)
    • Understanding data elements needed for the Data Warehouse and dashboards from disparate sources (including Google Analytics, Sitecore, netForum, miniPeak, and other sources of data)
    • Creating transformation algorithms to convert the data sources to Data warehouse consumable elements
    • Analyzing data for the data warehouse (which is a consolidation of inputs including Google Analytics, Sitecore, netForum, miniPeak, and other sources of data) for use for business line dashboards.
  • Work with developers to provide the necessary data for website applications (stored procedures) (10%)
  • Help manage taxonomy across the digital platforms including Digital Asset
Management system, Sitecore, Engagement, Data Warehouse, Information Architecture, (10%) Functions:
  • Design/develop reports and applications using SQL, SSIS, Power BI, SSRS and other technologies
  • Develop algorithms for forecasting and predictive analytics purposes
  • Gather and analyze data on the data warehouse
  • Use SSAS for data analysis and at times work with data marts
  • Perform unit testing and produce system documentation for ETL
  • Export data from Google Analytics
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of strong Transact SQL skills, with ability to write/optimize-stored procedures, triggers and SQL queries
  • Data Warehouse knowledge
  • Strong Power BI skills
  • Extensive experience with SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
