Description Forecasting Analyst Mission: The Forecasting Analyst'Microsoft mission is to collect and analyze large amounts of data from multiple sources and concentrate into a logical reporting framework. The analyst will also assist in determining areas of opportunity for purchasing and forecasting processes by creating a focusing on KPI reports and cross-departmental tools that will support continued rapid sales growth. The successful candidate will demonstrate past success in analytical problem solving, presenting data in a coherent fashion, systems integration, and complex cross-departmental execution. Your data-driven recommendations will improve our success. The Purchasing & Forecasting Analyst strives for excellence and accuracy while driving projects forward quickly; in doing so, they bring real value to the internal and external customers they serve. An insatiable curiosity and a desire to "uncover the invisible and make it visible" are vital in this role. Someone who thrives on digging into complex problems and mapping out solutions is also required. This role requires a self-starting, strategic problem solver who takes pride in and ownership of their work Primary Responsibilities / Essential Job Functions: · Establish forecasting reports to measure efficiency across the marketing and purchasing teams. Identify insights and trends, track progress. · Utilize data collected by other teams to assist in forecasting product needs for established as well as new products and categories. · Work closely with Logistics team to adjust forecast and sales targets based on ship time data. · Work closely with Marketing and Product Development teams to ensure forecast accuracy and product availability for desired offers. · Develop tools to better understand interrelationship between product and category sales. · Perform other duties as assigned, including support for the Supply Chain Manager or Director of Product Requirements This is a hybrid/ remote role. This person will need to be on-site in Nashville, TN 2+ days per week.
