We have been engaged by a Dallas based client who has asked us to identify a

Data Governance Analyst for their MDM team. This company is a global leader in manufacturing products and services to their direct customers. They have proven track record and history of innovation and responsibility in web-based e-Commerce applications.This is Full time, direct hire role. As the

Data Governance Analyst, you will lead the strategic design and maintenance of Master Data Management solutions and architecture.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Contributes to the organization’s master data management strategic roadmap scoping, prioritization, planning, and execution.
  • Leads technical and functional resources in the execution of master data focused projects.
  • Uses experience with MDM tools to design and implement business solutions.
  • Contributes to standards, guidelines, processes, and expertise to consistently address recurring strategic enterprise master data issues.
  • Identifies areas for data quality improvements and help to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies.
  • Provides training and support on master data process to users.
  • You will be interacting with business customers, IT personnel and members of the IT management team daily.

Required Skills:
  • 6+ years of Information Technology experience.
  • Identify and create KPI's
  • Gathering Data definitions, defining, getting approval and publishing
  • Process Improvements
  • Creation of Communication Plan
  • Creation of a Data Governance or Master Data Policy
  • Proven success defining and managing business data assets to improve data quality, accessibility, and reusability
  • Experience with establishing, monitoring, and maintaining data quality standards both with and without the use of automated toolsets.
  • Able to lead MDM initiatives, facilitating data governance processes both with IT and business participants.
  • Ability to partner and build relationships with Senior Management and communicate to multiple audiences.
  • Capable of developing source-target mapping for data integrations projects related to Master data.
  • Able to address issues of master data definition, metadata acquisition and data migration including data profiling, validation, clean-up, and remediation.
  • Strong oral and written communication ability.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited university.
