Junior .Net Developer

A client in Franklin, TN is seeking a Junior .Net Developer for a permanent position.The Junior .Net Developer is responsible for supporting existing application/systems and new application development. 3 days a week can be remote; two days onsite per week is required.Job Responsibilities• Provides user support for existing applications systems.• Installs software updates, adds users, access, user groups, etc.• Fields requests from users; prioritizes requests; creates work orders as needed.• Analyzes problems; instructs users on how to resolve issues; writes database queries and scripts.• Modifies/writes code to enhance screens, resolve issues, or add functionality.• May provide routine hardware support as needed.• Completes or contributes to development projects as assigned (some or all of the following as applicable):- Assesses existing system capabilities and develops revised processing, data warehousing, or reporting solutions; develops system enhancements; uses design tools and writes code as necessary.- Contributes to process design; develops functional specifications.- Helps ensure integration of enhanced or new systems with legacy and other systems and IT infrastructure.- Develops testing plan and procedures; coordinates user testing of new solutions; resolves issues.- Helps coordinate implementation of systems enhancements or new software solutions.- Develops system documentation.Qualifications• Working knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, SQL, and Object-oriented programming.• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with 0 - 3 years’ experience.• Strong analytical skills, systems thinking skills, time management skills and customer service skills.• Effective oral and written communication.• Ability and desire to work effectively with a team.Travel:Less than 10%On-Call:May be on-call to provide after hour user support as neededOther Requirements:- 7 year background check (Education, Employment & Criminal Background)Alltech, Inc. is a leading provider of IT staffing services in Nashville and the surrounding areas.
