Job Description This high-performance sustainability company is looking to hire a Senior DevOps Engineer to their growing team. Having experience in any cloud is acceptable but cloud migration is a must. You will be working with many different teams to communicate the needs of the company. Some other tools that you will work with are Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Python, Bash and Powershell. Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical leader to mentor other SRE's and collaborate with application developers to identify and meet SLO's
  • Partner with Cloud Platform and Development teams to implement architectures.
  • Implementation of IaC for provisioning using the cloud.
  • Craft a cohesive CI/CD platform which will enable maximum developer productivity
  • Collaborate and contribute to several cross functional initiatives
  • Deploy, monitor, and ensure stability and high availability of multiple virtual machines running on a large server fleet of Linux servers.
  • Resolve incidents in a timely manner by hands-on troubleshooting
  • Design and implement strategies for ensuring our infra is observable and alerting on only the most important events
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field
  • 4+ years work experience in software roles
  • Deep understanding of Infrastructure as code
  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes
  • Hands-on experience programming in Shell, Python, or Bash
