Traffic Engineer

Location: Jacksonville, FL Salary: Highly competitive Description: Our client is currently seeking a Traffic Engineer Responsibilities:As an experienced traffic engineer, you will independently adhere and apply standard civil and traffic engineering principles and techniques. Your excellent technical, written and oral communication skill will lend your expertise in writing proposals, scopes of work and preparing project budgets. Other duties may include:

• Preparing of traffic impact and parking studies for site development projects
• Leading various transportation studies which include traffic operations analysis, traffic safety analysis, and concept alternatives development.
• Conducting signal operations analysis, traffic signal timing optimization, and network modeling.
• Designing traffic engineering elements of infrastructure projects, such as multimodal facilities, traffic signals, lighting, signing, and pavement markings
• Assisting in the preparation of proposals for Alternative Delivery Infrastructure Improvement projects, including Design Build.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• 10+ years of experience
• PTOE Certification Preferred
• Excellent analytical and problem solving capabilities, organization and multitasking skills
