Senior Full Stack Engineer Job DescriptionAs CoStar's next Senior Software Engineer, you will have a direct impact on highly visible CoStar Suite web applications that touch millions of users. You continuously lean emerging technologies and architecture advancements and apply the learnings to improve CoStar's software products. We are searching for an exceptional Senior Software Engineer in Washington DC to support CoStar's software products. RESPONSIBILITIES • Design and Develop high performance web applications used by hundreds of thousands of users globally. • Design cloud native and hybrid applications to accelerate our cloud transition roadmap • Promote consistent architecture patterns for design and development within and across CoStar development teams. • Use state of the art frontend technologies like HTML/CSS/LESS/CSS-In-JS, JavaScript/Typescript, React, Webpack and NPM to develop highly available applications that can scale to deliver customer facing applications. • Use Javascript/TypeScript/C#, .NET Core/Node.js, GraphQL, and AWS platforms to develop backend services that can serve traffic volume in CoStar's web and mobile products. • Write effective unit tests and integration tests to ensure high quality software delivery, sprint after sprint. Leverage automation testing methods to increase test coverage and build confidence in CoStar's continuous delivery pipeline. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor's degree • 4+ years experience with developing mission critical, high volume web-based software • 4+ years experience with web application development experience and fluency with JavaScript, CSS3 (preprocessors such as LESS and SASS are a bonus), HTML5 • 2+ years experience developing using JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue. • 4+ years experience of relational database design, T-SQL programming and performance turning experience • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • 4+ years experience with .NET Core & C# • 2+ years experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB • 2+ years experience working with Serverless computing environments such as AWS Lambda or EKS/ECS/Fargate.
