- Masters or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Data Engineering / similar technical discipline and or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of software development experience 4+ years of experience working with PostgreSQL, Oracle (PL/SQL), RDS development.Minimum of 1 or 2 years of experience with programming languages (Java, Python, Angular, PHP, Node JS)
- 2+ years with AWS and other cloud-based development /deploy methodologies / best-practices Resolve database performance and scalability issues
- Understanding of API interactions and building applications in multi-user and multi-tenant environmentDesired SkillsDomain knowledge - Working in Transportation/Shipping Industry (Chassis, Truck, Vessel & Rail Operations).
- People, result, and customer-oriented with multi-tasking capabilities.
- An interest in PostgreSQL and helping to improve the PostgreSQL community and product ecosystem.
- Must be able to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
