Senior Data Scientist

A rapidly growing media company in Manhattan is looking to hire a Principal Data Scientist role is responsible for leading data science and analytics projects across the organization. This will be the first Data Science hire at the company and will work on building out this department. Required Skills & Experience

• The Principal Data Scientist is responsible for leading data science and analytics projects across the organization. This will be the first hire on the Data Science team and will be working very closely with the CTO who has a Data Scientist background.
• This person will be responsible for working with Product to gather requirements and then working through normal R&D cycles to produce the highest performing models. Then partner with Engineering to scale and deploy to production.
• Expertise in Python and SQL
• High familiarity with libraries such as scikit-learn, tensorflow, keras, pandas, numpy
• Knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure technologies and AWS APIs
• Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services
