Duration: 6 months contract to hireLocation: Washington, DCClearance: Green Card or US Citizenship is required in order to obtain a public trust clearanceProjected Description/Purpose of Role:This individual will be adding new functionality to an legacy application as well as creating new custom applications to support business needs. There will be a high level of client facing time and individuals should be prepared to participate in all aspects of the development life cycle.Job Description:We are seeking a .NET developer responsible for building .NET applications using .Net Core, C#, ASP.NET Core and SQL Server. Your primary responsibility will be to develop the front and middle tier of the application focusing on build, deploy reusable and testable code. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.Responsibilities:- Help defining and maintaining DevOps processes.- Help defining and maintaining Build and Release definitions in TFS- Develop unit test code for both front end and back end code- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation of testingSkills:- Experience using Team Foundation Server is a must - Strong knowledge of TFS (Build and Release)- Strong knowledge of .NET web framework.- MS Foundation Team Server- Proficient in C#, SQL, HTML, JavaScript/JQuery- Proficient in ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework- Familiarity with IoC, ideally Unity Injection.- Experience with writing Unit Test code ideally using fake framework.- Familiarity with Drupal, Bootstrap, CSS and Kendo UI a plus THIRD PARTY AGENCIES, SUBCONTRACTORS, AND RECRUITERS NEED NOT APPLY.
