About: This startup company is looking to add an Automation/DevOps Engineer to their team. You will be working in a very fast paced work environment with multiple different teams. The focus that you will have while in this role is to enable a DevOps model while working hand in hand with operations, architecture, and engineering teams with Agile processes. Daily you will be working with tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Docker, Python, and Powershell. By being able to take complex problems and break them down into smaller pieces, you will be able to succeed with this company. Responsibilities:
- Recognize and create new policies while working with Architects
- Collaborate with project teams to set best practices
- Troubleshoot all applications, systems, and networks
- Automate build, packaging, testing, and deployment processes using scripts
- Team up with development teams to deliver the infrastructure for proof of concepts and new development
- Implement, maintain, and improve CI/CD environments
- Build automation including creating builds to be used for deploying to multiple servers
- Hands on Automation experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
- Deep understanding of scripting using Powershell and/or Python
- Experience with Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
- Demonstrate effective leadership and analytical skills
