Data Network Engineer

Title: Senior Network Engineer Job Description An enterprise level manufacturing company in Charlotte is looking to bring on an experienced Senior Network Engineer to work closely with their Architectural teams to build out and support their Data Center and DMZ environments. Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or Network Administrator.
• Experience with Data Center or WAN network functions
• Experience with large enterprise class environments
• In-depth working knowledge with multiple of the following: Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto, Arista, Juniper.
• Experience with some of the following networking tools: Zscaler, Riverbed, and VeloCloud
• Proficient with networking protocols including EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, IPsec, and MACsec

• Knowledge of wide area networking (SDWAN)
• Experience with wireless networking
• Experience with Cloud services and connectivity (AWS preferred)
• Cisco related certifications

• Build and support Data Center LAN/WAN distribution
• Responsible for the deployment and administration of network environments in data centers in the Charlotte area.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network security issues
• Provide tier 4 operational support
• Mentor junior engineers
