Location: Philadelphia, PA Description: Our client is currently seeking a Wire Design & Install Engineer Level 2 in Ridley Park, PAWire Design & Install Engineer to join the Philadelphia Design Center with the focus being on collaboration with the Electrical Design Team to create electrical designs in support of various projects and programs throughout Enterprise. This Level 2 position will physically reside in Ridley Park, PA.Position ResponsibilitiesDevelops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs. Supports analysis and design reviews. Develops and maintains electrical product detail, assembly and installation designs (e.g., equipment racks, power panels, cable routing and geometry, antennas).Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests). Follows documented processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities. Supports the development of statements of work. Assists in the technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection. Analyzes functional and physical input used in the development of integrated design and system architecture. "US Person" includes , lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):o Bachelors of Science degree or highero CATIA V5 experience is requiredo MS Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) experiencePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):o Mentor Graphics Capital (MGC) or Enovia experienceo Experience in wire harness design, wire harness installation or equipment installationo College coursework and/or work experience with Boeing design, production, and build processes is a PLUSo Can obtain Secret Security Clearance is preferred, but not requiredTypical Education / Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Relocation:This position will be located in Ridley Park, PA and does not offer relocation assistance.
