Job Description

ABOUT THIS JOB 

TheRole is a strategically important aspectofNielsenIQ’sOmniSales Team as a key resource during high-value sales campaigns.  You will work in conjunction with sales associates to sell solutions within the functional areas of theOmniTeam includingOmnisales,Omnishopper, Spectra, and TDLinx.

 RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Set clear goals that create impact and drive results

  • Clearly and convincingly articulateOmniofferings and value proposition and overcome any resistance from prospective clients

  • Ability to understand/explain the value ofNielsenIQ’sapproach (versus other companies)

  • Contribute to writing and customizing proposals and presentations that clearly communicate why the solution is right for specific clients based on their business needs 

  • Create customized analyses to aid in the sales pitchto demonstrate strength of data and how it is incorporated with other NIQ assets, including presenting this material to clients

  • Demonstrate the NIQ solution to clients in a live environment

  • Create sample analyses using concrete business benefits

  • Liaisebetween sales, product management, solution architecture and operations on the scope and style of demos, proof of concept (POC) sessions, immersion days and proposed implementation engagements

  • Manage hands on POC meetings with client teams

  • Lead the professional development of junior level associates by modeling NIQ leadership traits, provide formal training, development opportunities and timely/regular feedback ensuring deep bench strength and successors

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years’ experience in a relevant industry (CPG, consulting, sales)

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Proven leadership skills

  • Positive attitude - glass is always half full

  • Willingness to travel to remote client locations (25%/30% depending on needs)

  • Enjoy ambiguity and complex business challenges

  • Positive team member through all stages of sales cycle

  • Aggressive self-starter, able to quickly adapt to changing environments

  • Ability to prioritize and demonstrate relentless discipline in achieving goals

  • Familiarity with NielsenIQ tools, applications and platforms a plus
