Active Directory Engineer

Position: Active Directory EngineerLocation: New York, NYDuration:12 months Design, integration, implementation and support of the AD environment to support a new acquisition that must remain separate.• Setup monitoring of the AD environment and respond to alerts as needed.• Provide support as needed.Must Have: • At least 7 years of relevant IT experience.• At least 5 years of AD experience.• Good knowledge and experience with Active Directory including deployment, configuration, role assignment, replication, etc• Good knowledge and experience with monitoring AD.• Experience with implementing and troubleshooting AD group policies both at the Domain & OU level.• Experience with Security\Monitoring tools that monitor changes to AD.• Good understanding and experience with DC and role distribution for a highly redundant environment across two datacenters.• Experience creating user accounts, groups, OU’s, etc.• Good troubleshooting skills.• Good understanding of and adherence to Change Management processes.• Experience with large scale data center environments; appreciate the important aspects of running a 24/7/365 enterprise environment.• Good interpersonal skills and a strong team player• Show flexibility under changing conditions• Good communications skills in English, both written and verbal.
