The ideal candidate is an expert IT end user engineer who has proven experience designing, developing, implementing and maintaining a standard end user delivery model. The Endpoint Engineer is responsible for providing high quality support in managing, planning, monitoring, and reporting on the service and remediations. The Endpoint Engineer is charged with managing and monitoring the enforcement of all applicable directives at a quality level acceptable to the customer. The Endpoint Engineer will devise, and review methods for monitoring, evaluating/reporting the performance. As part of a continuous process improvement role, the Endpoint Engineer will play a critical role in reporting deviations, monitoring and reporting trends, remediating non-complaint systems, and ensuring products are current. The position is remote/telecommuting. There may be times where the EndPoint Engineer needs to be available outside of normal hours to support critical issues, meetings, or implementation windows. Qualifications

Technology Scope of Position
  • Technologies may include end user compute, collaboration & productivity, and directory services. The focus of this role is operating systems, image, device management, group policies, browsers, printers and administrative scripting.
  • Solid knowledge of the following product space including Windows platform, SCCM, WSUS, MDT/OSD, PowerShell/VBScript, Intune, O365, M365, MacOS, iOS, Android, Citrix, XenApp/Desktop, McAfee, Carbon Black

Responsibilities
  • Perform deployments, and troubleshoot complex issues in a large network environment
  • Experience with infrastructure systems administration, and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) server health checks
  • Work in a large IT enterprise environment following SOP's and Work Instructions to provide quality customer service
  • Provide solutions to complex issues; handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Work in a group setting and able to collaborate with remote personnel of various skill levels and provide McAfee support to customers
  • Work with minimal supervision, with attention to detail, and follow-through
  • Ensure the Change Management procedures are followed
  • Build and maintain Windows build automation
  • Develop automate tools for information gathering and configuration changes to the desktop environment
  • Provide guidance and recommendation for user and machine group policies
  • Maintain distribution points across all sites including vendor sites when necessary
  • Work closely with Application teams to test and approve new software being added to the builds
  • Work with Sr. Engineer to yearly review of Hardware standards and provide recommendation based on new models
  • Troubleshoot complex application issues within the end user environment
  • Maintain currency in end user market trends and participate in industry workgroups as needed.
  • Strong ability to identify issues in the environment and can efficiently communicate the issues with colleagues and upper management
  • Process oriented and can document work processes and workflows
  • Familiar creating images for the virtual desktops Citrix, VM Horizon, and others
  • Knowledge on building and configuring MECM (SCCM), building task sequences and deployments
  • Knowledge of remote desktop tools Bomgar
  • Knowledge Microsoft support tools such as DNS, storage and networking
  • Basic code skills in one of the following languages PowerShell/VBScript/Python

Preferred Skills
  • 5 years of experience in IT support or related field
  • 2 years of experience performing day-to-day activities required to administer and deploy McAfee software (Agent, ENS, ATP, VSE, DLP, MAR, TIE, etc.) to all enterprise workstations and servers
  • Experience managing workstation and server anti-virus software, DAT files, content updates as it relates to security compliance
  • Experience operating and maintaining enterprise level information security tools
  • Experience in Systems Administration, including server & workstation troubleshooting
  • Experience with other EDR/antivirus or FIM products (Crowdstrike, Cylance, Carbon Black, SCEP, SEPM, Tanium, etc)
  • Experience using ticketing systems, such as ServiceNow
  • Knowledge of firewalls and IDS/IPS
  • Knowledge of network concepts/protocols
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Knowledge of scripting/programming
  • Basic familiarity with Linux distribution types and command line and/or MAC OS
  • Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server OS knowledge (Win10, Server 2012 or higher)
