The members of the Information Security Division are on constant alert, using their creativity and knowledge of cybersecurity, technology and business processes to develop and deliver creative solutions. In this fast-paced environment, staff collaborate to respond to current risks, while identifying and anticipating future threats. Our cyber capabilities encompass the full spectrum of services from Cyber Operations (SOC, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Management, Cyber Incident Response, Penetration Testing & Red Teaming, Cyber Analytics & Fraud, and Insider threat) to Cyber Architecture and Engineering (Network, Platform, Cloud, and Applications Security). Together with the CISO and his leadership team, staff provide a robust set of cyber services that provide full scope protection and response capabilities across the BNY Mellon enterprise. We help our businesses, the bank-s executive team, and our board of directors understand cybersecurity risk and the steps that must be taken to create and maintain a secure environment that drives innovation. What you will be doing: As a Public Cloud Security Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for creating/managing scalable and highly reliable Cloud-Native security solutions operated without manual intervention. You will have a unique opportunity to influence bank-s cloud security operations strategy making an impact on how it monitors the next generation of Cloud and container technologies. Ideally, you have experience in operations, security, and software development, having the experience in operating and managing cloud deployments. Key Responsibilities and Skills:- Management of Cybersecurity processes over cloud-native environments
- Cloud-native security operations and engineering ensuring stability and resilience of cloud-native security tooling
- Development of DevOps tools to operate the security tools of public cloud environments
- Security support for cloud onboarding and secure resources provisioning for supported cloud providers
- Develop and advocate for new cloud native operational models and solutions to constantly improve bank-s Cloud cybersecurity posture
- Experience with cloud-native security for at least one Cloud platform
- Experience with scripting and Infrastructure-as-code languages (Python, Terraform, Ansible, Chef and more)
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) or Microsoft Azure
- Experience with cyber security processes and tools (e.g. for scanning, monitoring, threat detection and response)
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure)
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM)
- Relevant automation certifications (e.g., Hashicorp or RedHat Ansible)
