Cloud AWS Developer Herndon, VA Only W2. We are looking to hire a Cloud Developer to support Cloud based modernization initiatives moving functionality from a legacy mainframe environment into the AWS Gov cloud. As part of our technical team, this position will help solution business requirements and technology directions to support development and enhancement of cloud based solutions. Working in an agile environment this position will involve collaboration with business partners, System Architects, product owners and the agile scrum team to plan, design, develop and implement solutions for these needs.This position requires someone who is a strong collaborator to deliver a best in class client experience. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, are client-focused, team oriented, with attributes and interpersonal skills that encourages creativity and continuous improvement. Qualifications:• BS or advanced degree in Computer Science, IT or related field• 3+ years’ experience with cloud or hybrid cloud development• 5+ years’ experience with full stack application development using JAVA, C#, ReactJS (or similar) and an RDS relational database• 7+ years’ experience with product development and architecture of software, applications and services• Hands-on experience with AWS is required with preferred practice in ECS, EKS, Fargate, VPC, S3, AWS CLI, RDS, Aurora, IAM, EC2, Lambda, and Serverless computing• Experience developing solutions for REST APIs• Knowledge of Microservices design patterns and development• Experience using Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform or CloudFormation• Delivered projects within an Agile software development practicePreferences:• Knowledge of Software Design patterns and best practices• Advanced skills of domain driven design and test driven development• Knowledge of DevSecOps designs and best practices• Familiarity with code source control, build processes, and continuous delivery• Experience guiding, coaching, and developing with other engineers• Excellent organizational and communication skills, both oral and written• AWS Cloud Developer or Solutions Architect certification is preferred• Experience using platforms like Mulesoft Anypoint Platform, Apache Kafka or similar technologies are a plus• Ability to facilitate, influence and manage change to deliver solutions• Experience in the Atlassian toolset: Jira, Confluence, etc. is a plus Regards, Kush KumarIT RecruiterAimic IncVacancy expired!
