Oracle Applications DBA

Highly motivated and passionate Oracle Apps DBA who has got experience in handling large and complex E-Business environments. Should have experience and proficient in installation, configuration administration of Oracle APEX, Forms & Reports, and similar Oracle products. Must have worked on at least two upgrade projects EBS 12.1.3 to 12.2.x upgrade and Database upgrade from 12c to 19c. The candidates must have a basic understanding of Advanced Architectures (Multi-Node, DMZ, RAC, ASM, Dataguard), and be able to sustain these technologies. Responsible will include installation, upgrades, patching of E-Biz, Database and RAC. Ability to drive performance issues in database and application stack and complex architecture issues. Strong Database backup and recovery skills. Must have experience setting up Oracle Dataguard and standby databases. Responsible for setting up DR environment and supporting periodic DR drill. Experience in installation, setup and troubleshooting of Middleware technologies like WebLogic, Tomcat. Ability to pick up emerging technologies and adapt to the trend. Work with technical team and Oracle support independently for any product issues. Good understanding of core support processes and change management, maintain documentation standards. Should be good team player and have excellent written and verbal communication skills Required Qualifications 5+ years of supporting Oracle APEX, SOA, and Forms & Reports Products 3+ years of application development and implementation experience 3+ years of experience in database design and administration 3+ years standing up and supporting DoD IT solutions 3+ years with DISA Security Technical Implantation Guide (STIG) 5+ years of Oracle DBA experience 5+ years of experience with Weblogic Must be a Must speak English Desired Qualifications Experience supporting an enterprise-level environment Ability to interact with all levels of an organization; including management Strong team or technical leadership experience Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Knowledge and understanding of database administration, design, deployment, configuration, and performance tuning Knowledge and understanding of relational database designing schema, stored procedures, and views for performance with large data sets Knowledge and understanding of the administrative tasks used to support SPARC SOLARIS operating systems Knowledge and understanding of the administrative tasks used to support Applications and Databases hosted on SPARC SOLARIS
