Our great Milwaukee based client has an immediate Remote opening for a Senior Business Analyst. If you are interested please apply with resume to .As a Business Analyst, you are responsible for serving the business unit in identifying, proposing, and overseeing the execution of business solutions to support corporate business strategies and performance. This includes:
- Collaborate and work across a broad base of stakeholders within one or more business processes to align technology solution to business strategies
- Elicit requirements. Analyze, document, and manage changes to assist in identifying business priorities and gain agreement.
- Responsible for facilitation and harvesting of core business needs, enabling translation consumable by the development team, and visualization and development of high-quality technology solutions
- Manage multiple work types across individual work tasks, from iterative changes to large-scale project deliveries
- Enhance end user satisfaction through continuous improvement of usability resulting in meeting end user's highest needs
- Education: Completion of a Bachelor's Degree. Additional years of related work experience (2) may be substituted for education beyond an Associate Degree.
- Experience: More than 3 years of recent and related experience performing complex work in area of specialization
- Experience with both Waterfall and Agile delivery practices
- Strong technical, analytical and communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Work collaboratively in an innovative and collaborative culture
- Investigates problems and develops recommendations for resolutions
- Highly motivated, self-directed, and attention to detail
- Communication skills allow you to work across various teams
- May identify and remove obstacles to change
- Deliver innovative solutions for internal partners

- Learn the Mortgage Insurance Industry
- Learn agile framework, specifically Scrum and Kanban
- First 30 days:
- Engage with business partners to understand vision, strategy, and goals
- Training development, delivery and learn about the active projects and teams
- Begin writing stories that reflect business needs and acceptance criteria that the development team can digest, point, and deliver
- First 6 months:
- Have your first few projects underway
- Expand your knowledge of systems and processes through engagement with business units and project teams
- Mastering the ability to elicit requirements and provide in story format
- First year
- Build strong business relationships with key stakeholders so you are recognized by business units and IS management as a go to resource
- Be a champion for continuous improvement and helping teams to adopt new processes and project methodologies
