Windows Server Engineer - Remote Contract to Hire The role is Remote, but candidates must be local to California, New Mexico, Montana, Texas, Oregon or Washington State Summary:

  • Our Healthcare client is looking for a Windows Server Engineer with expertise on Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager.
  • You will be a member of the Information Services team and will focus on managing Patch deployment across our Windows Server systems using SCCM.
  • You will create modernization roadmap & Architect solutions to meet business and IT needs, ensuring technical viability of new projects and successful deployments.
  • You are required to have advanced analytical skills, broad knowledge of Infrastructure technologies with specific focus on device/application management in addition to areas of expertise.
  • The successful candidate should have excellent Knowledge in Windows, Active Directory, networking including troubleshooting Windows OS & application issues. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience working in an Agile development environment with geographically distributed teams.
Required Sills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent education/experience.
  • 5 years related experience.
  • Experience with deploying applications & security updates
  • Experience with device management solutions like System center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
Preferred Sills and Qualifications:
  • Certified MCSE
Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert-level optimization of the Windows Server Operating System configuration to support requirements for clinical and non-clinical services.
  • Research and resolve technical issues related to the Windows Server Operating System and participate/lead problem resolution efforts.
  • Plan, research, and design solutions in support of strategic plans or clinical/business requirements.
  • Collaborate with Architecture, Engineering, and peers to develop enterprise-wide technical standards and roadmaps.
  • Evaluates system designs, provides recommendations to improve performance, security, and functionality.
  • Leads root cause analysis on Windows Server Operating System related problems.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices related to the Windows Server Operating System.
  • Monitor, respond to, and remediate alerts associated with the Windows Server Operating System.
  • Patch the Windows Server Operating System and remediate security vulnerabilities related to the Windows Server Operating System.
