Genesis10 is seeking a Java Software Engineer for a full-time perm position with our client in MN. Work will be 100% remote. Responsibilities: - Design and develop cutting-edge web and mobile apps across all tiers using modern software development platforms, tools, and best practices.
- Engineer high-performance back-end services on Java Spring, responsive web front-end using React/Bootstrap/Backbone JavaScript frameworks, and SQL/Cassandra/Mongo databases with full monitoring and logging support.
- Debug, diagnose, refactor, enhance, and resolve functional and non-functional issues across front-end, server-side, and databases using profilers and logs.
Qualifications: - BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
- ship or permanent residence status
- 3+ years of professional experience developing high performance RESTful Services and server-side processes using Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot and related toolset
- 3+ years of experience with SQL/MySQL database design and development
- 3+ years developing interactive, clean web front-end using JavaScript framework/tools like jQuery, Bootstrap, Underscore, Backbone, React, Angular and related HTML5 technologies
- Experience with full product lifecycle, agile practices, CI/CD pipelines, software design best practices, and website performance tuning
- Proficient with GitHub
- Strong passion for software engineering practices and an insatiable thirst to learn and grow
- Experience working with healthcare IT systems (e.g. PBMs and prescription claims)
- Experience with API's and Tomcat
- Mobile development experience
